Canada Express Entry System

What is the Canada Express Entry System?

Under the Express Entry program, there are three major immigration programs:

  • The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FST) (A government-funded program that helps people learn new skills)

The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled employees who seek to become permanent residents because they have a skilled trade qualification.

  • The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW) (A federally funded program that helps skilled workers find jobs)

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) programme is the most well-known way to immigrate to Canada. Every year, more than ten thousand immigrants are welcomed into the country as part of this programme.

  • The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)(For students who have lived in Canada)

Under the Canadian Experience Class, talented employees can convert their temporary resident visa to permanent status in Canada. This is based on the amount of time they spend contributing to the economy and society in Canada. To be eligible for this visa, a candidate must have a minimum of one year of Canadian work experience.
The FSW Canadian immigration programme is for talented foreign workers who wish to work in Canada for an extended period of time. Candidates may apply with their spouses/partners and children under the age of 18.

Provincial Nominee Program(PNP)

The PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) in Canada is a significant immigration route. People who want to immigrate to and settle in a certain Canadian province can apply for the PNP Canada program in that province. Each province works with the federal government of Canada, or IRCC (Immigration Citizenship Refugee Canada), to select permanent citizens for their jurisdiction.

The PNPs allow different Canadian provinces to choose which immigrants are most suited to their labour market and economy, and then nominate them for permanent residency in Canada. Each province picks competent foreign employees based on its own needs, criteria, and parameters, resulting in a unique set of requirements.

Different Provinces have different PNP’s:

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is a business immigration program that nominates people to live in Alberta permanently. Nominees must possess skills to fill job shortages or intend to purchase or start a business in Alberta. They must be able to support their families as well. The Alberta and Canadian governments are in charge of the initiative.

If you are nominated under the programme, you and your spouse or common-law partner, as well as any dependent children, may apply for permanent residence status.

Permanent residence applications are handled by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. These applications are likewise decided by the federal government.

The economic growth of British Columbia is contingent on having enough trained and qualified workers to meet labour market demands. The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) allows in-demand foreign workers and experienced entrepreneurs to become permanent residents of British Columbia.

Manitoba PNP (MPNP) is a state nominee program. This allows the Manitoba State Government to hire skilled workers. Workers are hired to meet the state's financial and labor needs. Applicants can use this program to obtain permanent residence in Canada.

The New Brunswick Skilled Workers Stream is for foreigners with the skills, education, and work experience to contribute to the New Brunswick economy. Candidates must meet the minimum program requirements, have a genuine job offer from a New Brunswick employer, and have the full will to live and work permanently in the state.

The program also helps New Brunswick employers who are unable to fill their positions with Canadian citizens or permanent residents to recruit foreign and international graduates who require skills in the state.

The Newfoundland And Labrador PNP is one of the state's nominee programs. This allows the state to hire skilled workers based on the labor demands of Newfoundland and Labrador. Individuals recommended by NLPNP will receive additional points as part of a comprehensive ranking system and will lead to an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

This program allows you to obtain permanent residence.

The Nova Scotia peninsula has a huge job prospect for highly skilled individuals. Applicants who are interested in working in Nova Scotia can apply for the visa. Those who get a job offer from the Nova Scotia Office can become a permanent resident.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province's economic immigration program. It works in partnership with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Foreign workers, international students and others with the right skills, experience and education apply to the OINP for a nomination.

The OINP recognizes and nominates people for permanent residence who have the skills and experience the Ontario economy needs, and the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve applications for permanent residence.

The Saskatchewan program is part of the state nominee program. This allows Saskatchewan to hire skilled workers. Recruitment depends on the labor market and the economic needs of the state. The Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) is a way to immigrate to Canada.

Federal skilled trade program

The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for skilled trade workers who seek to permanently relocate to Canada after receiving an offer of employment. Only 3000 applications are approved each year under this visa category by the government. For Category A, the IRCC considers no more than 100 applications per year for processing, although there is no limit for Category B. In this group, there are 43 vocations separated into two categories: category A and category B.

Federal skilled workers program

The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is one of the most popular express entry systems for obtaining permanent residency in Canada by 2021.

IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) implemented the Express Entry online point-based immigration system in January 2015.

Under Express Entry, the FSWP provides a pathway for abroad skilled workers to obtain permanent residency in Canada (PR).
It's a part of Canada's economic immigration schemes. In 2021, skilled employees can seek permanent residency in Canada through the Federal Skilled Workers Program.

Self employed

A self-employed visa is a program for applicants interested in cultural activities, world-class athletics, farm purchase and management, and immigration to Canada as a self-employed person.

You can only apply for this visa if you are a self-employed person, an international, professional athlete, or an individual in the field of arts and culture and can show your potential for self-employment anywhere in Canada.

Compared to other Canadian business immigration flows that require some of your personal money to invest in governments and businesses, or to get money from private companies, all you need is proof of your industry experience.

Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class, or CEC, is a sort of Canadian immigration programme that permits people who have worked in Canada for at least one year to stay permanently in the nation.

The Canadian Experience Class is a component of Canada's Express Entry immigration programme.
